It all started when I was 10 years old and my father had his own business, a Mister Softee ice cream truck. When he arrived home every evening, my job was to take all the coins out of the cupcake tins and soda cups, count them, and wrap them up in rolls. He taught me how to prepare a bank deposit, give him his start up money for the next day, and log his sales in his manual accounting book. My paycheck was a hot fudge sundae.
Between 1972 to 2000, I worked in various company environments. My dream was to have my own business one day like my dad. That dream came true for me in 2000.
In 2020, I sold a portion of my business and am now semi-retired. I focus on set-up and training with Intuit’s QuickBooks Desktop and QBO products. I continue to assist business owners with year-end review and clean-up services when needed. I am available remotely and utilize TeamViewer.

EDUCATION
- 1975 – Graduated Mentor High School, Mentor, Ohio. Enrolled in vocational accounting/computer study program 1973-1975, mastering key punch and operation of unit record machines.
- 1984 – Graduated El Camino Community College, El Segundo CA. Earned my Associates degree in business administration and accounting.
- 1989 – Managed a 15 staff team and installed personal computers to the desks of 250+ attorneys with Word, Excel, e-mail, and internet. Personally met with Bill Gates during the RFP process. Completed conversion and training with end users in 1992. Education on the job was priceless!
